Questions...

Q: What do you charge for your work...?

A: A question with an infinite number of answers.
Sometimes I'm able to establish a package price;
other times it's more sensible to charge by the hour.

Some questions I might ask you...

--Do you need photos taken to accompany your ad display?
--Do you wish to provide your own supporting imagery?
--Do you have a minimum or maximum budget?
--How long will your ad display run and in what quantity?
--Print? on Web? in flyers? long-term? one-time exposure?
--How large does your graphic display need to be?
--Will it be transferrable electronically or will you need
multiple hard copies or copies on CD?
--Will the design need periodic, regular revisions or updates?

Q: Will you write copy or do ad design for political campaigns...?

A: I have often done this both locally and out-of-state for small campaigns.
I follow
a non-partisan personal involvement and simply use the talent
we have access to (and the data we're provided) to assemble
respectable messages either for airing or for print.

Q: Is there any subject matter you prefer not to work with...?

A: redheaDESIGN accepts no assignments of a sexual or ethnic-slur nature.

Q: Does the client particpate in the creation of ad designs...?

A: To a certain extent. The client is urged to forward any/all images, logos, slogans
or personal font files needed to retain business image consistency with his/her
established business themes, but overworking a layout is strongly discouraged.
An overworked design loses much of its original inspiration with repeated
edits, changes, nudges and tweaking. Clients hire redheaDESIGN for
its crisp originality and distinctive, cut-above approach. While not
forcing a client to adopt overly-radical, out-of-character
concepts, redheaDESIGN wishes the client's ad layout
to GET ATTENTION above all. We strive for a "way-
better-than-average" look... and isn't that what
you really want for your business anyway...?
